About Victor Culpepper
I am a self taught photographer. My interest in photography started back in the 80s with the purchase of a Minolta OMPC 35mm SLR camera and a Toyo Optics 35-75mm lens. Digital got my attention in 1998 and I purchased a Kodak DC-210 as my first digital camera and a few years later a Kodak DC-4800. In 2004 I transitioned to Nikon and DSLR cameras with the purchase of a Nikon D-70 digital camera body. Upgrades since then have been a Nikon D-200, Nikon D-300 and currently shoot with a Nikon D-800.
My photography has included weddings, sports, glamour, birds, family, special events, nature and landscape. Nature and Landscape have become my photography of choice.
In 2007 with my first payment for photography services I realized this was turning in to more than just a serious hobby. Since then I have attended many workshops, seminars and training classes hosted by other photographers who are experts in their field. I am also currently a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of America.
